KORALUX towel rail radiators can be produced as independent electric direct heating. They are fitted with electric heating elements equipped with temperature limiters and filled with an anti-freeze mixture, which allows for their use in buildings with an anticipated temperature drop down to -10 °C.
Electric heating is connected to the fixed electricity mains by means of a supply cable into the mounting box or additional accessories can be fitted to the supply cable for connection to a mains socket. Depending on the required convenience of operation of the electric heating and economy of operation, this concerns:
KORALUX electric direct heating can only be fitted in a vertical position and does not require expansion or pressure safety equipment during operation.
All KORALUX towel rail radiators, which are connected to a hot water heating system, can be supplemented with an electric flat heating body without a Z-KTT-XXXX integrated temperature regulator or with Z-KTTR-XXXX integrated temperature regulator. In doing so, a towel rail radiator is created, which combines water and electric heating and can then be used at any time independently of operation of the heating system. The basic version of this electric heating is connected to the fixed electricity mains by means of a supply cable into the mounting box. In the case of electric heating without integrated temperature regulator, a modified supply can be used for connection to a mains socket. In this case it is however necessary to order accessories in relation to the required convenience of operation and economy of operation of the electric heating and to fit this to the supply cable.
