Production plant in Česká Třebová
In 1996 and 1997 KORADO built a completely new plant for the production of the radiators RADIK and KORALUX. This complex was built with an investment of nearly CZK 3 billion and is today one of the most modern plants of its type in all of Europe. At present four production lines are installed at the plant with an annual capacity of up to 3 million RADIK and KORALUX radiators. But the production plant was designed from the very start to allow expansion to 5 lines. The exceptional nature of the building, which soon became the dominant feature of the entire region, is witnessed by the prestigious award of Building of the Year, which KORADO was given in 1998.
KORADO Bulgaria
In 1998 KORADO gained a 100% share in the originally German-Bulgarian production plant in Strajica, Bulgaria. The company then carried out a significant reconstruction and modernisation of the complex in order to meet the demanding European parameters for production and then started to produce the RADIK radiators at the plant. These are manufactured in virtually the same range as in the parent plant and it serves to supply south-eastern Europe.
