RADIK radiators are steel panel radiators with a natural circulation of air around their panel. They are produced in single, double or triple panel form. The outer panel is made of a shaped plate with horizontal and vertical depressions. To increase heating performance some types of radiators are provided with a convector plate, welded to the vertical waterways of the panel.
The panel is made of two stamped steel sheets welded together with a seam weld on the perimeter and with a spot weld where the depressions are. The cold-rolled steel sheet used has a low content of carbon, corresponding to class FePO1 in accordance with EN 10130 and EN 10131.The convectors are formed from steel sheet and are spot-welded directly onto the vertical waterways. This solution affects positively the natural air circulation along the convectors of the radiator.
