RADIK HYGIENE VK - Steel Panel Radiator
Description
RADIK HYGIENE VK is a panel radiator in design VENTIL KOMPAKT which enables right bottom connection to the pressurized heating system.
It is suitable for installation and operation in rooms with high demands on hygiene and cleanliness. All types are without convectors; they have a flat front panel and the weld seams are covered with a special flat strip. The type 20S has got a bigger spacing between the panels (radiator depth B = 102 mm) as compared to the traditional design of type 20 (B = 66 mm). At the back side two upper and two lower hangers are welded. Radiators 1 800 mm long and longer have six welded hangers. The standard equipment includes an air-vent and a blanking plug. We recommend to use the drive-in brackets (type 18/120 – see KORAMONT catalogue) which enable to mount the radiator up to 65 mm from the wall.
Warning: If the requested distance between the radiator and the wall should be 65 ÷ 80 mm, the same type of brackets can be used on condition that the bottom hangers will be fixed with brackets (not with supporting pieces only). In such a case, the additional brackets must be ordered extra.

Pressure Loss
In case of two-pipe heating system it is necessary to calculate the correct level of valve presetting and specify this in the project documentation to ensure a proper function of the heating system. This must be kept by the installer during installation of the heating system.
In case of one-pipe heating system it is necessary to set the valve at level 6. For adjusting the required mass flow in the radiator we recommend to use the compact connecting fitting with a fixed or adjustable flow volume of water in the radiator.
