How does a combined towel rail radiator work?
A combined radiator and towel rail works via a dual system – it is connected to the central heating but also fitted with an electric heating element that can be switched on whenever needed.
- During the heating season, it functions as a hot-water radiator.
- Outside the season, the electric heating element heats the radiator independently – without needing to turn on the boiler.
